Austin's Gallery

Austin Picinich

Austin Picinich is a 20 year-old painter merging realism with his imagination. Mostly working with acrylic on canvas, Austin adds vibrant colors to make his paintings pop. He took his passion to the next level by tackling large-sized paintings and murals, including a 7-foot mural in the clubhouse of Crossroads 3 Par Golf Course in Bellevue, WA and a 112-foot mural at SPUD Fish & Chips in Kirkland, WA. One of his largest pieces to date is a 12-foot-long tropical triptych, although prints of his work are available in many sizes. Much of Austin’s work has been commissions, which expands his skillset to include diverse subjects from beach scenes to wildlife to cityscapes. Recently, Austin has started making giclée prints of his work participating with a booth in several Western Washington art festivals.

“I believe the key to producing good artwork is having fun in the process of making it. I love painting, and I think that shows through in my work. Art just makes people happy, and the vibrant colors on a large scale in my work are contagious. My goal with my paintings is to put a smile on people’s faces.”
