Through my art, I try to capture and understand the intricacy of relationships. I am captivated by the way in which we connect with one another as well as to ourselves. By employing a diverse range of mediums including, collage, sculpture, and oil painting, I strive to create a physical connection to the work that pushes my understanding of how I can relate to others. This tactile relationship allows me to explore the human body and the ways we physically connect to each other. A recurring theme in my work is the human figure, but rather than presenting the complete form, I often focus on specific parts of it. This choice is meant to emphasize the subtle yet powerful ways in which we communicate, connect, and interact with the world around us. By isolating these fragments of the human form, I aim to explore themes of pleasure, domesticity, and conflict. Ultimately, I aspire to create art that not only resonates with the observer but also fosters a deeper connection between individuals and the world around them.
